Useful new Instagram feature

Since Instagram they are, ever faster, adding new functions to their application. Many of them are focused on improving the user experience, so that we spend more time in the application and make more use of it.

But many of them are focused on the usefulness of the app and on making it more practical. And this is what happens with a new function that has been enabled in the Instagram application recently and that many users have been asking for for a long time.

You no longer need third-party apps to schedule free content and posts on Instagram:

We are specifically talking about the possibility of scheduling any type of publication from the Instagram application itself. In other words, completely natively and without having to use any kind of app from third parties.

The operation, in fact, is really simple. We have to go, initially, to the option to create a new publication. When doing so, we have to select the video or photo that we want to use and that we want to be published under programming.

Schedule content is the first option that appears in Advanced Settings

Once selected and filled in all the fields that we want to fill in (description, location, etc.), we have to select Advanced Configuration at the bottom and in this configuration select“Schedule this post”, and then choose the post date and time.

It's that simple and without the need for third-party apps like up to now. In addition, a new section has also been enabled in our profile called Scheduled Content, and it appears when you click on the icon with the three lines, from which we can see all our scheduled publications.

The Scheduled Content Section

This new function seems to only work for professional or business accounts. That is why, if it does not appear to you as a personal account, this should be the reason. And, in case of being a professional or company account and it does not appear, do not despair since it will appear, sooner or later, as long as you have the updated app. What do you think of this new function of Instagram?
