There are different ways to do it as we explained to you a while ago. switching from any mobile phone to an iPhone is an easy task, but there is one, in particular, that for a few months has allowed us to make this change in a much easier way.
It is an app that is available in the PlayStore and that will help us do it.
How to Switch from Android to iPhone:
The app is called Move to iOS and we leave you the download link at the end of this article. Once you have downloaded it and before starting the process make sure of the following:
- Have WIFI activated on the Android device.
- Plug both mobiles into power.
- Make sure all the content you want to transfer, including the content on the external Micro SD card, will fit on the new iPhone .
Transfer Data, Contacts, Photos, Videos from Android to iPhone:
- Turn on the new Apple device and place it near your Android device. On your iPhone, follow the on-screen setup instructions. On the quick launch screen, tap Set up manually .
- Find the Apps & Data screen. Then tap on Transfer data from Android. If the iPhone is second-hand, you must erase the content of your iOS device and start over.
- On Android mobile, open the Switch to iOS app. If you don't have the app, download it by touching the link below.
- On iPhone tap Continue when you see the Transfer from Android screen. Then wait for the ten or six digit code to appear.
- Enter the code on the Android device .
- The iPhone will create a temporary Wi-Fi network. When prompted, tap Connect to join that network on your Android device. Then wait for the Transfer Data screen to appear.
- On your Android device, select the content you want to transfer and tap Continue . Then, even if the Android device indicates that the process is complete, leave both devices until the loading bar that appears on the iOS device finishes.
- When the loading bar fills up on the iOS device, tap OK on the Android device. Then tap Continue on the iOS device and follow the on-screen steps.
- Make sure all content has been transferred. Music, books and PDFs need to be moved manually.
