Another novelty that will arrive on WhatsApp shortly
We've been making changes to the app since WhatsApp for a while now. These changes are more and more constant and usually come in the form of different functions that are useful and that improve our use of the app.
Most commonly, most of these functions are discovered in the different betas of the application. This is what has happened with previous functions that initially appeared in betas to later reach the general public.
WhatsApp is going to add a third way to login
And now there's a new feature coming soon that will change the way we log in to the app somewhat. Although there is no need to worry too much since this change will not be complete, but a new way of logging in is added to the existing ones.
Currently, once we want to log in to WhatsApp, the app allows us to do it in two ways. The first one is to receive an SMS code on our mobile device. And, the second of them, is the possibility of receiving the code through a call on our phone.
The different verification options
But with the new function coming to WhatsApp, we are going to have a third possibility. This possibility is one that already exists, for example in TelegramAnd it is the possibility of receiving the code directly in the app on a device where we are already logged in.
This option, logically, will only be available if we are already logged in on a device. What makes it appear when we want to log in to an alternative device. In this way, we will not have to depend on a SMS or a call.
As we tell you, the function is currently in the testing phase in one of the betas. Therefore, we cannot assure you when it will finally arrive in the app. What do you think about this possibility?
