Another feature coming soon to WhatsApp
For some time now, since WhatsApp they have been implementing numerous new features in the application for all users. Most of them are proving quite useful and can almost always be found initially in the different betas that the app launches before launching them to all users.
And today we're talking about a future novelty for WhatsApp which, of course, has been discovered in one of the betas of the application. In this case, it affects a function that you will surely use a lot: video calls.
With this function we can use other apps while making video calls on WhatsApp
Video calls from WhatsApp are widely used by many people. And it is that, it allows you to communicate by audio and video with users of any platform. But, this function of the application on iPhones has a small con.
Specifically, it doesn't allow you to use other apps on iPhone if you're making a video call. Something that can be very useful and even necessary at times. But the new discovered function covers this “failure” present in the iPhone.
This is how the PiP function will work in WhatsApp video calls
As has been discovered, once the function is launched, we will be able to exit WhatsApp when we are making a video call. And it will do it in a way that we already know and that is present in many other apps: through Picture in Picture (PiP).
The way to do it will be really simple, in the same way as we are used to. Just by sliding the screen of our iPhone down, we will leave WhatsApp, and when doing so, the video call screen will go to the home screen . By doing so, we will also be able to view the PiP “miniscreen” at the different corners of our iPhone to locate it where it suits us best.
This is certainly a welcome feature. And that, in fact, we don't understand why it hasn't arrived before since PiP is present in the iPhone. What do you think?
