Which iPhone to buy in 2023
The first thing we have to be clear about when we buy a new iPhone is the utility that we are going to give it and what is most important for us, according to its features. I use a certain type of phone because my needs are specific and I don't want or I'm not going to take advantage of that other one.
The new catalog of Apple , since September of this year, is really extensive. Americans have for sale the iPhone SE 2022, the iPhone 12, the iPhone 13, the iPhone 13 mini, the iPhone 14, the iPhone 14 Plus, the iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max
With all this I am going to give you my opinion about it and I will name the iPhones that I recommend you buy according to your needs:
Opinion on which iPhone to buy in 2023:
If you are an elderly user, of advanced age, that you only use your mobile phone to call, to be called and to send the odd WhatsApp or take a photo, without a doubt the iPhone SE is yours, but the truth is that it's bad no matter where you look at it. The good thing about it is that being a contemporary of the iPhone 13,it still has a lot of useful life left.
The iPhone 12 I recommend it if you want to get started in the Apple world or you're a teenager and you're going to be glued to the mobile (it has a 6.1-inch screen so you don't go blind and a great battery). The cameras are good and the video is even better. The purchase is really good.
The iPhone 13 are, to this day, the best purchase you can make if you are not a professional who creates content or takes pictures.The iPhone 13 is powerful, has a very good battery, a chip (A 15 Bionic) that is a beast and is light. The only thing missing, for my taste, is having a telephoto lens.
The iPhone 13 Mini is the same as the 13, but with a very tight battery and very small (5.4 inches). For me it is the best there is. Packing so much technology into something so small is amazing. The bad thing is that the screen is quite small. It is a mobile that I would recommend, without a doubt, for someone who likes small mobiles, sees well and does not consume multimedia on the mobile (in the Mini it is difficult to do so). I have used it for a while and it is really comfortable to wear but not to use, it is very small.
Do I recommend an iPhone 14 model?:
The iPhone 14 are exactly the same as the iPhone 13, it even has the same chip. The only difference is in the cameras, the 14's are a bit better. The video has higher quality and an action mode that stabilizes the iPhone brutally.They have the option of notifying emergencies if you get lost (only in the USA today) and an ambulance if you have an accident. If you want to spend the thousand euros it costs in Spain, I advise you to buy the iPhone 13 Pro wherever they sell it. Or, also, for €100 less, buy the iPhone 13 The iPhone 14 Plus is exactly the same as the iPhone 13 but with the size of a iPhone Pro Max (6'7 inches) and much more battery (because of its size). Perhaps we are facing the smartest purchase of this year.
With the new iPhone 14 Pro with which I have mixed opinions. I really liked the notch but I find it incredible what they have achieved with the Dymanic Island. Of course, I still think that watching multimedia content and finding a crack on the screen must not be very pleasant. It is built with very good materials (glass and steel). A chip that is the best, according to Apple, that there is on the market but that you and I are not going to notice (and possibly an expert either).It has a brutal 48MP camera as long as you activate ProRaw, if it doesn't stay at 12MP, just like the iPhone 13 Pro It has improved very little, compared to the previous Pro, in the screen, on the camera and on the chip, everything else is the same. The Pro Max is the same but with a bigger screen and battery
In conclusion I would say that if you don't need cameras or video, and you don't want a big phone, buying the iPhone 13 is the best option.
