App for people with visual disabilities
If you have visual problems, surely you have come across, at some time, with the impossibility of being able to read the fine print on the leaflet of any medication. Today we bring you an iPhone application that will solve this problem.
If you have people nearby who can help you, like children, nephews, brothers, parents who can help you, great. But if you can't get hold of anyone, surely this app will be one of the essentials in your iPh0ne.
Application for the visually impaired:
The iPhone has a magnifying glass that allows us to enlarge anything, but it is true that it is a function that not everyone knows about and that there are apps, like the one we are showing you today, that you will find them much more comfortable to use.
The app in question is called Medicamento Accesible Plus and we leave you the download link at the end of the article.

This application is a project of the Vodafone Spain Foundation, the ONCE Foundation and the General Council of Official Colleges of Pharmacists.
It is designed for mobile devices, accessible and free, to access relevant information about any medication.
Everyday actions, such as reading the package insert for a medicine, can be a problem for many people. This app is a solution within everyone's reach, especially accessible for the elderly, people with manipulation problems or the visually impaired. With it you can locate information about a medication by searching for its name, its national code or through the camera of your device, through the barcode or the datamatrix code found on the outer packaging of the medications.
Medicamento Accesible Plus accesses part of the information included in the He alth Information Database, belonging to the General Council of Official Colleges of Pharmacists of Spain and incorporates different options search, reading capacity of information addressed to patients and other services of interest to users.
Small problem for this accessible medication app:
The only problem is that, for example, when searching for a medication by name, the box where to put it does not appear. Intuitively you must click on the search button, write the name (which does not appear when you write it), and hit search.
Intuitive typing area
Otherwise it works pretty well.
Without a doubt, a great app that anyone who has vision or manipulation problems should have installed on their iPhone.
