Fix locations on Apple Maps
The other day I wanted to find the location of a restaurant in Alicante to add it to my places in the Apple Maps application and be able to get there without detours, thanks to the indications of the app. The surprise was that when we got to the place indicated on the map, the restaurant was not there. It was a few hundred meters from the location indicated on the map.
This made me review the locations of many of the companies, restaurants, stores I know and correct the location since many of them were wrong.
I love doing it because apart from being entertained I help make Apple Maps better. An action that I recommend you do, if you're bored, and thus bring order to our cities together.
How to fix locations on Apple Maps:
In one of my tweets I shared a video in which you can see how the locations of companies, stores, restaurants are corrected in Apple Maps. Here I pass it to you:

Then I specify, step by step, how to do it:
- We enter the Apple Maps application and zoom in to the place where the company, store, restaurant, or cinema of which we want to correct the location is located.
- Click on the place to correct, in my case it is the "Taco Bell" restaurant, which appears on the map in the middle of the university campus and is not there.
- The typical menu will open in which it gives us all kinds of information about it, the time it takes to get there, the option to create a route. We will click on the "More" option and from the drop-down that appears click on the "Report a problem" option.
- A list of possible problems will appear. In it we will choose "Wrong address or location on the map" .
- Now we will see a small window with a kind of blue balloon with an exclamation mark in the center, which we must move to the exact place where it is, in this case, the restaurant.
- Once positioned in the correct location, click on the "Send" button that appears at the top right of the screen.
Apple will thank us for the contribution and now it's time to wait for the change to take effect. They usually take a few days, even weeks, but in the end, after the checks, the location on the map will appear corrected.
If you want to know if your contributions have been reviewed, enter a location that you have corrected, scroll down to the bottom of the menu that appears when you click on it and the information about it will appear there.
If one day you don't know what to do, I encourage you to try this. For me personally, it relaxes me. I put music on the Airpods Pro 2 and I start correcting like a champion hehehehe.
