Learn the new way to pixelate photos in WhatsApp
For many years we have had the possibility to pixelate photos from WhatsApp's own photo editor. We've gotten so used to that interface that when we didn't see it available, we thought that this feature had been removed from us.
Well, they haven't removed it. They have simply moved it and, of course, we have not seen it clearly because it is somewhat "hidden" among other options. So that the same thing does not happen to you, we are going to explain how, from iOS 16, the images from WhatsApp are pixelated

The effect we are going to achieve is the same as the one we show in this video. The only thing that changes is the place where the pixelation option is now located and that we name below.
Now to pixelate any part of an image, the first thing we have to do is click on the pencil that appears in the upper right part of the image, when opening a photo from WhatsApp .
When doing so we will see that the range of colors is displayed on the right side and, in addition, in the lower part we will see 4 layout options, as we can see in the following image.

From left to right we can see that there are the options of fine lines, medium lines and thick lines. The last of the options, the one that is furthest to the right, is about the pixelation function. clicking on it we can pixelate the part we want of the image.

What does seem to have disappeared is the option to bleach a photo. But hey, to make this type of edition, there are hundreds of photography apps that allow us to do it easily.
