Rise in prices in the App Store
A very short time ago, Apple introduced the new iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro, in all its variants. And, although a possible price increase was rumored, that has not finally been the case. Or at least in United States.
And it is that, in the rest of the world, more specifically in those countries that use the Euro as their main currency, this increase has occurred. And, in fact, we are looking at one of the most expensive iPhone so far.
App Store prices will rise in Spain, France, the entire Euro zone, and in countries like Chile or Japan
It's rise of the new iPhone is probably due, almost certainly, to the current equivalence between the euro and the dollar Right now the dollar is above the euro and this could be the reason. But now, in addition, Apple is going to raise the price of another of its services.
We are talking, specifically, about the App Store. In a note that Apple itself has published on the website, they inform of the price increase that will directly affect the App Store applications, as well as the purchases that are integrated into the same.
Privacy on the App Store
The increase, which will be effective from October of this year, will affect all countries whose currency is the Euro. And, likewise, prices will be raised in Egypt, Chile, Malaysia, Japan, Pakistan, Poland, South Korea, Sweden and Vietnam.
This price increase is progressive as the prices of the applications increase. For example, an app or in-app purchase that currently has a price of 0.99€ will cost €1.19 and one whose price is €9.99 will cost €11.99 .
In the note issued by Apple you can see all the price increases in all countries in more depth. But of course, it's curious to see how prices rise when the dollar exceeds the euro, but they don't go down too much when the opposite happens.
