New in the way of making backup copies of WhatsApp
We all know that, to a greater or lesser extent, backups are quite important. Either from all our content or from some apps. And that's why WhatsApp sometimes reminds us if we want to back up our account.
No wonder, since there we have chats, conversations, photos, videos, etc. And the way to make these backup copies is, in the iPhone, by making them in iCloud, occupying its consequent space in the cloud.
The copies of WhatsApp can be made in other places besides in the cloud:
But from the looks of things this could change completely. In one of the betas of the application it has been discovered that since WhatsApp they are working on ways to make backup copies completely different from the way we know so far.
These different ways to make the copies would change, mainly in the aspect that we would no longer depend on the cloud to be able to make them. This implies that the backup copies would not remain only in the cloud.
Encrypted backup on WhatsApp
These would be done on the device itself and could be “outsourced”. In other words, the way to make backup copies would be making use of the memory of our iPhone, which would create a file with the backup copy.
This file that WhatsApp would have created and that would be in the memory of our iPhone, we could move it to our liking. For example, we might send it to another device such as a computer or another iPhone or mobile device.
If this function is finally implemented, it will mean a before and after in the way of making backup copies of WhatsApp We cannot know when it will finally arrive , but we hope that you do it as soon as possible and that you do so while also maintaining the possibility of making the copy in the cloud. What do you think about it? Do you find this function useful?
