What's new in iOS 16 security
It's among all of us iOS 16 and it can be installed on all those devices. We already know many of the functions that it includes, but today we are going to talk about some functions of privacy and security.
As we already know, privacy and security are one of the great assets of Apple devices. And this with iOS 16 has not changed, but in fact they have been strengthened making the devices more secure and private.
Many features in iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 make our devices much more secure
We start with the function Security Check. This function is found within the Privacy and security settings of the device. More specifically at the bottom of it and gives several options.
The first one is a Emergency Reset. This is intended for critical moments in which we may need to quickly revoke and restore access to people and apps to our device.
But it also has a second option that will allow us to have a greater vision of what apps and people have access to and what. It's called Manage access and shared data and we can see what content we are sharing with the apps and people, as well as the devices associated with our account and modify them.
The new list of accesses to our Privacy
Also, within the Privacy and Security section of the Settings we find the Isolation Mode This security mode is designed for very that may be exposed to cyberattacks. And, the same, limits the normal operation of the device, limiting many of its functions so that there is no external interference.
It is also worth noting the new way in which iOS 16 notifies us of access to the microphone, camera or location When sliding the center control, we can see if any of them has been accessed. And, if we press, we can see the apps that have recently accessed and what. And, of course, the lock with code or Face ID of the Hidden and Deleted Photos folders is also very noteworthy
Of course, these are functions that can be very useful. And we are sure that many of us will use more than one on more than one occasion. What do you think?
