Backup on iPhone and iPad
If you want to make a backup on your iPhone and iPad but you don't know how, you are in the right place. Next we are going to give you all the notions you should know about it, as we do in each and every one of our iOS tutorials
Let's start by seeing that it is a backup copy. It is a copy of the data on our device whose purpose is to be able to recover or dispose of it in case of loss , change of terminal or restoration of the same.
How to Backup on iPhone and iPad:
To perform this backup, we have 2 options:
- Back Up from iCloud .
- Backup from iTunes .
When making the backup we run the risk of using up the 5 GB that Apple gives us. Therefore, if you are not subscribed to any paid version of iCloud, which we 100% recommend that you do, and you do not want to have to be aware of deleting photos, videos, data so that you can make copies, better perform this process via iTunes .
iCloud Backup:
To do this we must go to Settings and click on our profile, which appears at the beginning of the menu. Then we will press on the option iCloud and, of all the options that appear, we must click on "Copy to iCloud". From there it will give us the possibility to make the copy "Now".

It's that simple.
You can also make a backup to iCloud from your computer as we will see below.
Back up to iTunes on PC or MAC:
The other way to activate the copy in the cloud through iTunes, in case you have a PC, or from the finder in case you have a MAC.
To do this we connect our Apple device to the PC or Mac and enter the device and we will see its data as a multitude of options.
We have to go to the "General" tab and look in the "Backups" section.

Once we are here, if we look, it gives us the option to save a backup in iCloud or on the computer. In this case we will choose the one that suits us best but if you do it from your computer because you have iCloud "crazy", it is best to save the copy on your computer.
Simple too right?.
