WhatsApp as a widget on iPhone lock screen
If you don't know, one of the most outstanding novelties of iOS 16 is the customization of the lock screen of our iPhone A screen that will surely be one of the ones we consult the most to see the time, see the notifications. Now, too, we can use it to host widgets that will allow us to directly access functions and apps that we want.
There are many Widget apps for lock screen (article to be published soon) . We recommend one that will allow us to put shortcuts to the applications that we use the most on a daily basis.
How to put WhatsApp, Twitter, Instagram as Widget on lock screen:
For this we are going to use an application. In our case we recommend Lock Launcher. It is an easy-to-use app that allows us to put any app in the widgets of our lock screen in a very simple way.
We enter the app and find this screen:

As you can see we only have the first 2 Widgets available. If we want to use more we would have to pay. We think that these two options are more than necessary to be able to add apps and complete the widgets with functions or other native Apple apps.
Click on Widget nº 1 and we will see that a screen appears with various options. In it we will click, within the "Featured" section, on "Choose" so that all the available apps appear to us to put as a widget on the lock screen:

Using the search engine that appears at the top or manually searching for the apps, we can select the app that we want to add as a widget. In our case, for example, we are going to use WhatsApp and once found, click on it and we will directly have it added as action

In that menu we can configure the icon, make it bigger, with a background. When finished, click on "Done".
How to put WhatsApp on lock screen:
Now what we have to do is make the lock screen appear, keep it pressed for a few seconds so that it allows us to configure it to our liking. Click on "Customize" and click inside the widget area. Now we will see options to add.
We are looking for Lock Launcher
We look for the Lock Launcher app, click on it and navigate through the menu that appears with different widgets and click on the WhatsApp one. In this way we will already have the WhatsApp shortcut available as a widget on the lock screen.

Just as we have done with WhatsApp, it can be done with any app that appears in the application list and, also, with shortcuts, settings. The app gives us many configuration possibilities.
