Will this feature make it to the final app?
Since WhatsApp they are making various changes and improvements to the app. These changes and improvements come in the form of new functions, such as the three that we announced and that would arrive throughout the month of August 2022.
But while the focus is on these three new privacy-focused features (hiding online status, blocking ephemeral photo captures, and leaving groups silently and without being notified), the thing does not stop there.
This group function will be exclusive for WhatsApp group administrators
In betas after these functions became known, more functions have been discovered that, presumably, will reach the final version of the app, such as the possibility of recovering deleted messages, or the new exclusive function for groups.
The latter, and which has been discovered recently, consists of the possibility of deleting any message that has been sent in the groups. But, as it may seem logical, not all party members will be able to use it.
This is how this new feature would work
The feature is intended exclusively for administrators. And, more specifically, so that they have more control over the group and can maintain order in the group, eliminating messages that may not be related or that are not desirable.
The operation would be quite simple. Admins could select any message from a group of WhatsApp and delete it for other users. But that if, as it happens up to now, it would report that a message has been deleted and, in this case, by whom it was deleted.
As we have said, this may be intended so that there is some order in the groups. And it is that we all know how complicated it can be to manage a group of a specific topic and that there are people who send or talk about unrelated content. What do you think?
