Subscriptions come to Instagram

Some time ago, and thanks to the App Store, it became known that Instagram was planning to add subscriptions to the application. Monthly subscriptions which, apparently, would give Badges and access to Exclusive Content.

And although not much was known about these subscriptions, they are now appearing, which suggests that their launch will be imminent. Below we will tell you everything that has been known about them.

First of all, they are only visible. In other words, they are not accessible at the moment, although you can see that they are present in the app. To check this, all you have to do is access the app and click on "Instagram" that appears in the upper left part.

Subscriptions will give access to exclusive content from content creators:

Along with the Following and Favorites option, and on top of both, "Suscription" now appears along with a crown logo. And, if we click on this option we will see that there are no publications since subscriptions are not enabled.

But having seen this, its operation seems to be quite simple. We intuit that, once they are enabled, the publications and other content of the accounts to which we are subscribed can be accessed both from the feed, as well as from the section that we have commented on.

Access to subscriptions

The operation of these subscriptions seems to be similar to that of other platforms. As you may know, thanks to the Questions and Answers section of Instagram, subscriptions allow us to access exclusive content from content creators.

These subscriptions, which seem to be for a monthly payment, will give access to the exclusive content that the content creator or creator wants, among which we can find Stories, Live Lives, Reels, Posts o Publications o Group Chats only for subscribers.

Subscription to an Instagram profile

We will have to see how the users of Instagram react to these subscriptions and if they succeed in the app. What do you think?
