New way to disable Instagram account
The social networks have been part of our daily life for some time now. Their usefulness is highly varied and we all know that they give us ways to share content or contact people that, without them, would not be possible.
But it is also true that, to a certain extent, they can be harmful in some aspects. That is why many times it can be useful to temporarily put them aside. And even eliminate them completely.
You no longer have to access the web to deactivate or delete your Instagram account:
That's why Instagram, like many other apps, allow us to delete our account as well as deactivate the account. But the process for it was quite tedious, considering that it is mainly an app for mobile devices.
The process for this was to access the Instagram website and, from the web settings, locate the option that allowed us to deactivate the Instagram account or remove altogether. But that has now changed and is much easier.
Deactivate account from the Instagram app
Since one of the latest updates Instagram allows us to delete or deactivate the account directly from the application. To do this, we have to access the application and go to its settings.
Once we are in configuration we will have to access the Account section and, at the bottom, choose Delete Account. We can also access it from the configuration search engine by typing “Delete”.
Once in this section, we will only have to choose if we want to delete or deactivate our Instagram account and follow the steps to complete its deletion or deactivation. It is, of course, a much simpler way for most people than the one that had to be followed previously.
