How to create lists of places on iOS maps
Today we bring you one of our iOS tutorials so you can get the most out of your iPhone. A way to use our devices as a tourist guide, marking the places we want to visit on a trip, a getaway we are going to do.
But not only can we make lists of future places to visit, we can also use this maps function to mark places we've visited, restaurants we like, curious places .
How to create lists of places to visit:
How we are going to start the summer season in the northern hemisphere of the planet, it has occurred to us to make this tutorial. We will be able to mark the places we want to visit on our well-deserved summer vacations. A way to help us schedule one of the longest getaways we have of the year.
To do this we have to access maps and display the tab that appears at the bottom of the screen and that allows us to access the search engine, recent places and guides.
Create a new Guide
Click on the "New guide" option that we can title, for example, "Summer vacations 2022". Once created, we simply have to go to the map and look for the places we want to visit on our vacations.
Every time we find one of those places, if it has information, we click on it and in the information tab that we have available at the bottom of the screen, we move it up and click on "Guides" .
Add places to the Guide
When doing so we will see the guide created by us and we simply have to press it to add that place.
If the place we want to go to has no information, we will have to keep our finger pressed on the screen until the marker appears as if we have marked the place and we will have to press the button with the 3 points to give us the option to add it to the guide we have created.
Once we have made the list, to access it we display the tab that gives access to the guides, as we have commented at the beginning of the tutorial. We will see the list of places accompanied by a map where all the items that we have been saving appear. We can see an example in the main image of this article.
Without a doubt, a great tutorial to schedule your vacations.
Greetings.
