Avatars on Instagram
A few months ago it became known that, from Instagram, they were working on the possibility of implementing custom avatars for users in the application. This, without a doubt, to promote the metaverse that the company of Facebook wants to be the next technological revolution.
As usual, these avatars were not available to all users, but were implemented in some profiles on a test basis. But, apparently, they are already becoming available to general users of the app.
Custom Avatars can be used as Stories stickers
Initially, and even if they don't seem to be available, we can access them from the app's settings. If we access the configuration, as soon as we enter, a pop-up message should appear announcing the possibility of creating Avatars.
This popup screen will not allow you to decide between creating them at that moment and waiting for later. And, if we click on the option “Create avatar” we can start creating and customizing our own Custom Avatar for Instagram .
The screen to create Avatars
Instagram will allow us to customize our avatar in almost any aspect. Starting with the skin color of the avatars, we can then choose a specific head shape, hair color and appearance, and eye color and shape.
But not only that, but we can also customize our Avatar with the face and head accessories that we want, as well as the type of clothing and color of it. All this so that our personalized Avatar resembles us as much as possible (bearing in mind that it is an animation). We can use these avatars as stickers in Stories, as well as, apparently, in the app's private messages.
If at the moment you see that this Avatars option does not appear in your configuration or in the stickers of the Stories you don't have what to worry about And, as always happens, this novelty will gradually be deployed for all users.
