Organize photos into folders

We are here again with one of our iOS tutorials with which we teach you tricks and tips so you can get the most out of it of your iPhone and iPad.

You already know that whenever we take a photo, it is saved in the « Camera Roll » album of our device. This causes all the photographs to be agglutinated in the same place. Then, when looking for a specific one, we can go crazy. That is why it is recommended to organize them.

Well, there is a way to classify them and we will explain it to you below.

How to organize iPhone and iPad photos in albums:

Here are the steps to follow:

  • We enter our photographs.
  • Once we view the albums we have, click on the "+" button that appears in the upper left part of the screen.

Create a new album

Choose the “New Album” option, enter the name you want to give it, and save.

Name the new album

When creating the new folder, it will give us the possibility to select the photos that we want to add to said album. You do not need to add them at this time. We will proceed by clicking « OK » at the top right, to close the album.

How to insert photos in the new album?

  • We access the Reel and click on the album where "Recents" are gathered.
  • Click on the "Select" button that appears at the top right.
  • Click on the photos and/or videos that we want to add to the new album, to leave them selected.
  • Once selected, press the share button that is characterized by a box and an arrow pointing up and that appears at the bottom left of the screen.

Album created with the selected photos added

This way we can organize our photos and have them more organized in our terminal.

IMPORTANTE: We must say that the snapshots that we add to the folders that we create will never be deleted from the “Recent” album. This is the central axis where all the photographs we take or save should be.
