This is how you can set an anti-theft alarm on the iPhone

Today we bring you one of our iOS tutorials with which we are going to teach you how to set an anti-theft alarm on your iPhone . A Great way that nobody can steal your mobile, using this trick that we are going to tell you about.

It's true, normally we never lose sight of our device. But there are times when we lack some battery and we have to charge our device anywhere. This means leaving the iPhone a bit out of sight as it's charging.

Well, to avoid this kind of tension and so that nobody can steal our iPhone, we are going to create an alarm that will sound when we disconnect the cable.

How to set a burglar alarm on iPhone:

In the following video we explain step by step, how to set the alarm. Since the arrival of iOS 15 the way of doing it has changed a bit and that is why we explain it to you in writing below:

As with any function or automation on our device, we must access Siri Shortcuts. From this section we will be able to control practically everything.

In this case, we want to create a burglar alarm, so we open the shortcuts and go to the “Automations” section. Once here, click on the “+” symbol ,and then on “Create personal automation” .

Once this is done, all the available options appear, where we have to scroll to the bottom and click on the "Charger" .

Press the Loader option

In this section, it is important to select the "Is offline" option, because we want it to sound when it is removed from the loader. Click on "Following" and now, we must add the first action, which will be "File", which we can find by searching for it in the search engine that appears at the bottom.

The file that we have to add is a sound that we have downloaded to the iPhone previously and that we will find in the files app, within the location “on my iPhone” (VERY IMPORTANT), in the folder where we have located it.

Chosen audio file

You can also add another action in which we tell the iPhone to put the volume at 100% every time we connect the device to the charger.

Now we must add another action which will be "Play Sound" and that we can search for thanks to the search engine that appears at the bottom of the screen. We add it and we will have our automation configured. Click on "Next" and deactivate the "Request configuration" option to avoid having to give permission each time the automation acts.

It should look like this:

In this way, which apparently seems complicated, we can create our burglar alarm.

The fastest way to turn off the Alarm is to completely close the Shortcuts app.

Greetings.
