Goodbye Instagram apps
For some time now, since Instagram they have been making several changes to their application. In fact, it is quite common that, every few weeks, we see new features that come to the application to make it much more complete.
The Instagram app itself has been complemented, on many occasions, by third-party applications that made up for its deficiencies or allowed it to be more creative. But we have also seen how Instagram has launched other apps that complemented the main app.
Among them we have Layout, Hyperlapse or Boomerang But these last two, for seen, they have been removed by the developers from the App Store In fact, they cannot be found by searching for them by name or on the developer page of Instagram
Removed apps are Hyperlapse, Boomerang and IGTV:
These two applications allowed you to create fun effects to post on Instagram, either in Stories or in the posts themselves. But it is true that these effects have been losing followers as other functions were released in the main application of Instagram
And not only that, but for example Boomerang, is something that the Instagram application itself allows you to do from the interface to create Storiesor Stories Therefore, it seems logical that these two apps should be eliminated since the app itself has the tools to create this content.
IGTV app will also disappear
Also, another of the missing apps is the IGTV app. This type of video was very popular when it was released, but the launch of the Reels caused its use to decrease, in favor of the latter. And, at the end of March 2022, the IGTV app will cease to have service and these types of videos will be integrated directly into the app.
All these movements are not too flashy. It is curious to see how apps disappear, but if their functions are integrated into the app itself, it doesn't have to be negative. What do you think?
