Grover.com , a consumer electronics rental company, has released a study examining how affordable the latest iPhones are in countries around the world. They evaluate the number of hours someone needs to work in each country, earning the minimum wage, in order to acquire a iPhone 13
How many hours would you have to work to pay for an iPhone 13?:

- Of the 50 countries included in the study, Spain ranks 16th. Workers who earn minimum wage can afford an iPhone 13, with a total of 157 hours.
- Workers earning the minimum wage in Venezuela would have to work the longest amount of time to pay for an iPhone 13, about 7.062 hours, or the equivalent of working full time for more than three years. This is almost double the time needed compared to India, which ranks second (3,667 hours).
- Workers in China and Vietnam, countries where iPhones are made, must work 983 hours and 1,043 hours respectively to afford an iPhone 13.
- Danish citizens should work as few hours as possible. Earning minimum wage to be able to buy the latest iPhone, they would have to work 63 hours. Norway is a close second requiring 64 hours.
Without a doubt, a great study that makes us see the difference in wages in many countries on the planet.
