But it is true that there are some functions that, although they are available in the web versions of Gmail, are not available in the applications. This makes it sometimes necessary to go to these versions to have a complete experience.
Until now. Since from Gmail they have included in the app some new functions to make it much more complete. We are talking about the possibility of making voice calls and video calls from the application itself for iPhone of Gmail.
Widgets were one of the novelties of Gmail
From now on, in the email conversations started from Gmail in your app, we will be able to make calls and video calls just as it could already be done in the web versions of the email manager Google.
Now, in the Chats tab that can be found in the email app is where we can make calls and video calls directly to our contacts. Without the need to use the rooms that previously allowed you to do so.
It's quite interesting to see how Google has integrated this option into Gmail. Thus, the app, in addition to serving to receive and send email, does so as an application for calls and video calls.
