Great WhatsApp failure to end 2021
For several days now it is available to update our iPhone version 15.2 of iOS , your operating system. The update has been loaded with interesting new features but also, apparently, it has caused some unexpected problems.
Problems that more than being related to the devices as such, are related to some of their applications. And this is the case of WhatsApp, an application that has stopped working for many iPhone users after updating to iOS 15.2.
As it is being reported quite massively through networks and forums, there are many users who cannot use the application. And this implies that they cannot access the application as such, closing it as soon as it is opened or not opening it directly.
This bug will be affecting more apps besides WhatsApp
That is to say, we are not facing a minor error that causes some crashes when using the app, but it seems to be a problem of incompatibility of the application with the operating system update.
This means that some WhatsApp internally may not be optimized for what's new in iOS 15.2. And, therefore, the application cannot be run with said version of the operating system installed on iPhones.
The settings of the app
That if, from what it seems, it is not a general problem. In fact, just like there are many people who can't even open WhatsApp, there are others for whom it works without problem. But although it is not generalized for WhatsApp, it is being generalized for apps, since WhatsApp is not the only one affected by this bug.
For now, the only thing left is to wait for an update from WhatsApp. Therefore, if WhatsApp or other apps fail you after updating to iOS 15.2, we recommend you keep an eye on the App Store.
