This is how you can lose your iPhone
Today we are going to teach you how to avoid losing your iPhone . A good solution for those people who usually leave their device anywhere or who are somewhat clueless.
Sometimes, not everyone, but a large part, usually leave their phone somewhere. This is a problem, since today, it is no longer only the material loss, but also everything that is inside this device in terms of information. And we could say that in an iPhone we have all our personal information.
That's why Apple has taken it upon itself over the years to help us not lose this device and, above all, to help us find it in a really simple way. Today we want to show you one of those functions that we must have activated if you have installed iOS 15, or higher, on the iPhone and WatchOS 8, or higher, on the Apple Watch
How to avoid losing your iPhone, thanks to the Apple Watch:
In the following video we explain it to you in a more colorful way. If you are more of reading, below we do it in writing:
To start we must go to the "Search" app. Place where each and every one of the devices that we have configured with our Apple ID or that we have registered in "Family" will appear.
Once we are inside this app, we must go to the "Devices" section that we have at the bottom. Here we will see, as we have commented before, that all the registered devices appear. Now we only have to look for the one in which we want it to notify us, which in this case is the iPhone.
Go to Search app
Click on this device and its options will open. Since what we want is for you to notify us, we go to this section and look at that tab that appears below with the name "Notify when I don't take it with me" .
Select device and go to notifications
Enter this section and activate the tab that appears. Once this is done, we will have configured our device to notify us when we do not take it with us.
Trusted places can be configured where the function will not act, for example, if we are at home, at work
This way, the Apple Watch will send you a notification to let you know that you've left your iPhone. Undoubtedly, one of the most interesting options that Apple has released in recent years.
Greetings.
