How to photograph the moon
If you own an iPhone 11 or later, you'll surely be delighted with the camera's night mode. impressive photographs are taken in low light conditions and, honestly, that is one of the most outstanding functions of the camera of these devices.
But surely if you wanted to take a photo of the sky, you will have been a little disappointed to see that your capture is not what you expected it to be. After spending a few seconds keeping the iPhone focused on the sky, you see that the photo appears very clear. The stars are visible, but the background, which should be black, is much lighter than desired. Also, this situation is accentuated if light pollution is high in the area where you take the photo.
Well then, we are going to tell you what you have to do to make that image look as it should.
How to Photograph the Moon and Stars with iPhone:
Let's give an example of how to capture the stars. For the moon it is the same, the only thing that changes is that we must ZOOM and have a lot of temper to be able to capture it in good condition. To do this, we recommend using a tripod or supporting the iPhone somewhere.
First you have to do is capture the stars. When focusing on the sky, night mode should be automatically activated. If so, it is your choice to give it more or less seconds of capture. Normally it's 3 seconds, but you can give it up to 10.
To modify the time, you have to press the night mode button, which appears next to the flash. There you will see the seconds it will take to take the photo. When you click on it, just above the button to take the photo, a selector should appear from which you can choose the time you want the camera shutter to be open.
