iOS and iPadOS 14.7 is here
With iOS 15 already presented and just around the corner, predictably with the arrival of the new iPhones in September, iOS has little left 14. But that doesn't stop Apple from releasing updates to the operating system.
In fact, iOS 14.7 and iPadOS 14.7 weren't unexpected updates at all. So much so that they already knew some news that would come with these updates and today, July 19, 2021, they are now available to download and install on our devices, and we will tell you about their news.
Here's what's new in iOS 14.7:
We start with a novelty related to the latest release from Apple: the Battery Pack. This update brings support to iPhones to be able to use this MagSafe External Battery in them from today.
iOS 14.7 and iPadOS 14.7 also add the Air quality feature to the operating system's native Weather and Maps app, though only in Spain, Canada, South Korea, France, Italy and the Netherlands Not only that, but it also gives us the ability to manage HomePod timers directly from the Home app.
About the update
In addition, some improvements and bug fixes have been added both in the operating system in general and in some apps such as Apple Music, fixing some bugs that could be annoying.
As usual, unless you have automatic updates enabled, you will need to update to this version manually. To do this, all you have to do is access the System Settings and access Software Update, and choose Download and Install.
