Problems with iOS 14.7
It's been less than 24 hours since we've had iOS 14.7 and iPadOS 14.7 between us. They came with some very interesting news and with the intention of solving several quite annoying errors and failures.
But, it seems, the first glitches and errors of the most recent versions of the operating systems for iPhone and iPad are already beginning to appear In this case it is a bug in iPhone that is affecting the Apple Watch
iPhone users with Touch ID cannot unlock their Apple Watch with their iPhone
More specifically, this bug would be preventing the Apple Watch from unlocking automatically when unlocking our iPhone. One of the most useful functions between both devices completely unusable for some users.
This is what numerous iPhone and Apple Watch users are reporting through various forums. And, the truth is that we understand that it has to be something quite annoying since this function makes it much easier to unlock the Apple Watch by not having to enter the code on the screen.

As it seems from the different reports, this bug would not be affecting all iPhones. Specifically, the iPhone that are being affected are those whose unlocking method is Touch IDIn other words, iPhone from X with Face ID would not be affected.
This bug is probably nothing more than that, a bug in the operating system. Most likely, Apple will fix it shortly by releasing a new version of iOS 14.7 which would be, predictably, iOS 14.7.1, and probably sooner rather than later.
