As reported by the company, they will not limit functions or disable accounts. They will simply continue to constantly display the notice that you have to accept the new terms and conditions but giving the option to close it and continue using the app without accepting them.
We certainly think this is a smart move by WhatsApp. And, while it seemed unlikely, it seems that they will eventually continue to offer the service without accepting the terms for the time being. Of course, we cannot know until when.
