MacBook and iPad Which one do I prefer?

People were talking about the MacBook non-stop so I decided to buy one and give it a try. I bought the MacBook Air M1. At first I had a hard time adjusting, since I came from the Windows PC, but in a couple of days I had it under control.

I've always worked with an iPad with MagicKeyboard and mouse and I've done it on a few occasions with a PC, especially when I had to deliver an official document.

For my work use, the iPad Air 4 that I have is perfect.Let me tell you: I do office work, let's say Word and Excel are close friends of mine (and I pay for them). I write to you using Google Keep, the Notes app and WordPress. I edit the photos (I resize them, nothing more) with the Photo Size app .

Yes, it's true that the battery of the MacBook lasts much longer than that of the iPad, but it's no problem to charge it at finish the workday, really. Also, iPadOS is an extension of iOS and it gives me more.

Between the MacBook and iPad the iPad gives me everything I need:

iPad Air 4 with Magic Keyboard

Having, as I have, the iPad Air 4 and using it for what I use it for, it's enough for me, really. Of course, the Magic Keyboard is essential. In fact it is the same as the Mac keyboard. It is a very expensive keyboard, extremely expensive (€339), but it is worth every penny you spend.

I like the Macbook because the keyboard it mounts reminds me a lot of the Magic Keyboard and its path and sensation when writing, for me it's unique. It gives me everything.

Sure, but spending more than €1,000 on something because you like the keyboard .

I'm going to keep using the MacBook for certain things, but the iPad gives me what I really need. Its synchronization with the iPhone is total and its unique portability. In summer I work remotely from anywhere and the Apple tablet lets me do it and also fits in almost all my bags.

One of the things I like the most about iPadOS is its similarity to iOS and the fast synchronization between both platforms. It's true that thanks to AirDrop synchronization between Mac and the iPhone is very fast, but between the iPad and the iPhone is brutal. That thing about writing something on the iPhone and turning on the iPad and having it there is amazing.

People who know me know, I'm pro iPad (with Magic Keyboard, yes) and pro iPhone, butMacOS, I don't like it that much. I don't dislike it and I'm getting the hang of it, but it doesn't excite me.

And you?.
