News are coming to Apple maps
Everything indicates that iPadOS and iOS 14.5 are going to be quite powerful updates in terms of what's new. And it is that, not only do we know the initial news, but some are also being discovered thanks to the betas.
One of those "hidden" innovations is the possibility to set Spotify as the default player on our devices. But things don't stop there and more and more news are being found in the different betas.
Apple Maps will allow us to notify incidents with iOS 14.5:
In this case it was Apple Maps. This iOS app that was launched with the intention of dealing with Google Maps has probably been one of the most criticized and least used despite having been getting better and better.
And thanks to iOS 14.5 a new and very interesting improvement will arrive. Once the update is fully deployed, we can add from Apple Maps notices for other users, and others can do the same too.
The three incidents that we can report
These warnings that we will be able to report seem to be a total of 3. The first of them will be the possibility of reporting an accident, but not only that, but we will also be able to warn of a specific danger on the road. And, also being probably the most interesting, the possibility of notifying where there are radars placed.
With these three possibilities to notify different incidents, Apple Maps is even closer to its competitors. And it is that many other map and navigation apps already had the possibility of notifying these incidents on the road.
In any case, it's positive to see how Apple is gradually improving one of its services that could have a lot of potential. What is your opinion? Will you give the Apple maps a chance after these updates are released?
