iPhone not compatible with iOS 15
With the arrival of each new version iOS, Apple launches a list of devices that can be updated to it and in which you can see the absences of devices that cannot they will. We already told you in November about the possible iPhone that will not be compatible with iOS 15 and it seems that we were right.
Normally this is announced at WWDC that takes place in the summer, but today we have accessed a report from iPhoneSoft where the iPhones that will not be compatible with iOS 15 are already defined .

If this is true iOS 15 would be compatible with the following iPhones:
- iPhone 7
- iPhone 7 PLUS
- 8
- 8 PLUS
- iPhone X
- XS
- XS MAX
- iPhone XR
- iPhone 11
- 11 PRO
- 11 PRO MAX
- iPhone SE 2nd Gen.
- iPhone 12
- 12 mini
- 12 PRO
- iPhone 12 PRO MAX
- Future models of iPhone 13
- iPod touch (7th generation)
As you can see, of the iPhone that are compatible with iOS 14 the iPhone 6S, 6S PLUS and SE (1st Gen.) . These are going to become obsolete equipment. They will not be able to enjoy the news that the new version of Apple's mobile operating system will bring.
iPad compatible with iPadOS 15:
The future iPad operating system, iPadOS 15, will be compatible with the following models:
- iPad Pro 12.9-inch
- Pro 9, 7, 10, 5 and 11 inch.
- iPad Air 3.
- Air 4.
- iPad 6/7/8.
- iPad mini 5.
- iPad Futures
The iPad mini 4, iPad Air 2 and iPad 5 are dropped from the list.
This does not mean that iPhones and iPads that cannot be updated will stop working. You can always extend the life of these iPhone a few more years but, obviously, they will not be able to enjoy the improvements and news of the new version, which also affects the news that may arrive to some apps.
