Instagram Guides
If you are one of the people who has been posting on Instagram for a long time, you surely have hundreds of images and videos on your profile. Now this great social network allows us to classify it as we wish.
The Instagram guides we can say that they are like a kind of colorful folders in which we can put photos and videos of various themes. Above all, it is very useful for channels that are dedicated, for example, to sharing recipes, tricks, and what began as a platform where you can share beautiful photos, is now a place where you can find all kinds of content.
How they work and how to create Instagram guides:
To be able to make a guide on Instagram we must click on our profile, in the bottom menu of the screen, and then click on the "+" that appears on the bottom top of the screen.
Access the creation of Guides
There we can see a multitude of options and that is where we must click on the "Guide" menu.
Now a submenu will appear in which we must choose what type of guide we want to do. This is already a bit to taste or need of the user. Since we don't sell anything and we don't want to compile photos of any place (where you can collect photos from different users about a specific place), we chose to make a guide of our publications.
Choose the type of guide you want to create
Now we will have to choose the photographs that we want to appear in that guide. We can classify them as we want by colors, monuments, selfies. As I am passionate about water, I am going to create a guide in which photographs and videos appear where the main element is water.

Once chosen, the photos appear as a vertical carousel and we can put a title and add text to each of them.
Make and edit your Instagram guide
The name of our account will appear in the photos in the guide, as a watermark, and clicking on any image will take us to the original publication where we published that snapshot.
Once created we can share it on any social network, messaging app, on Instagram Stories wherever we want.
Where to find the Guides section:
In our profile a new option will appear on our publications where it will allow us to access all the Instagram guides that we create. It is a new menu that will accompany IGTV, Reels, photos in which we have been tagged

It's a great way to give visibility to photos that we posted a long time ago and that are forgotten in our profile.
