The 10th anniversary of one of the most used apps in the world is celebrated, Instagram In addition, it is one of the applications that has added the most new features to its interface, going from a mere exclusive photographic social network for iPhone to mutate into a whole social platform where photos, videos, stories coexist .

- The product was released on the App Store on October 6, 2010 baptized as Instagram. It was an exclusive app for iOS devices.

- In September 2011, version 2.0 of the application is released. It includes new live filters, option to apply blur effects to specific areas, high-resolution image editing .
- April 3, 2012, the app is no longer exclusive to iPhone and is launched for Android. Once released, the Android version achieved over a million downloads in less than 24 hours.
- On April 9, 2012, it is announced that Facebook has acquired the company for $1 billion.
- On December 17, 2012, Instagram updated its privacy terms and conditions of use, thus granting itself the right to sell users' photos to third parties without notice or compensation as of January 16, 2013.Criticism from privacy advocates, consumers, big business and celebrities led them to undo the changes imposed on the statement of those terms. Even so, Instagram lost a large number of users, who chose to switch to other similar services.
- May 2, 2013, Introduced the ability to tag people and brands in any of the photos.
- On June 20, 2013 version 4.0 of the application is released. It adds the possibility of recording and uploading videos with a maximum duration of 1 minute. This new tool includes image stabilization.
