Many have been the users of iPad and Apple Pencil who were waiting to install iPadOS 14to be able to try this magnificent function of Apple that will come in handy for more than one person.
Students, among other groups, are going to be the ones who make the most of power write by hand on the iPad and that, automatically, everything becomes text that we write It will be the best way to be able to pass the notes cleanly without having to do almost anything and we tell you almost nothing because surely we are going to have to correct some transcription error.

To be able to configure the iPad and Apple Pencil and to allow us to use the Scribble function , the first thing we have to do is add an English keyboard to our iPad It doesn't matter what type of English it is, you can choose the one from the United Kingdom (UK), the one from the US, or the one from the United Kingdom (UK). The USA, the one from Singapore the one you want. This is so because, at the moment, this function is only available for the English language.
We enter Settings / General / Keyboard / Keyboards and click on the option “Add new keyboard”. From there we chose the one we mentioned before.
Choose the keyboard language in English
Now we will have to go to the Apple Pencil settings, which are in Settings/Apple Pencil and activate the Handwriting option.
Enable Handwriting in Apple Pencil Settings
If you don't see the Apple Pencil settings menu, sync it first. To do this, connect it to the tablet in the Lightning port.
In the image we can see the 1st generation Apple Pencil menu. Many more configuration options appear in the 2nd generation.
Now we have configured the Apple tablet to test this wonderful novelty that comes with iPadOS 14 We advise you to try it everywhere but, specifically, in the notes app or some app that processes text. It is there where you can do your writing and see how your iPad performs by transcribing everything we write.
To, for example, take notes and then transcribe them, we simply have to select the handwritten text, copy it as text, and then paste it into another note or word processing app. It's a true marvel.
And that's it, now we just have to wait for this function to be compatible with the Spanish language. Let's see if it's sooner rather than later.
Greetings.
