Google Maps for Apple Watch and CarPlay
In 2017 Google made the decision to stop supporting this app on the Apple clock. Like other applications, such as Amazon and eBay , it seems that they saw no future in the Apple Watch and decided to withdraw their apps.
Now, years later, it seems Google has realized the potential of Apple's smartwatch and is once again supporting the device.
We advise that, to this day, it is not yet available on the smartwatch. It will be rolled out gradually over the next few weeks.
Google Maps for Apple Watch:
With the new application for Apple Watch, we can navigate safely and easily with Google Maps directly from our wrist.
When we're away from home, the clock will help us stay connected and see essential information at a glance. With the application we can easily navigate by car, bicycle, public transport or on foot, in the same way that we can do it with Apple Maps

We will quickly obtain estimated times of arrival and directions, step by step, to the destinations we want to reach, such as our Home or Work. Other shortcuts that we have designated in the app are also available. For all other destinations, we can start browsing from our iPhone and continue where we left off on the clock.
Google Maps for CarPlay:
The app will now support CarPlay in all vehicles that support this feature, globally.

In CarPlay we can change or pause songs, rewind or fast forward podcasts or audiobooks, or quickly check calendar appointments without having to leave the navigation interface Google Maps Information is displayed in a split-screen view, in the style of Apple maps, so we can get all the info we need while driving .
The Google Maps app for Carplay will be available in the next few days. Support for Apple Watch will begin rolling out worldwide in the coming weeks.
