IPPAWARDS 2020
If you don't know, every year an event is held to reward the best photos of the year taken with iPhone A contest called IPPAWARDSto which you have to subscribe to be able to participate in it and that offers us wonderful snapshots, as you can see below.
Thousands of candidates from more than 140 countries have participated this year, in each of the 18 categories to which images can be sent. Animals, abstract, architecture, children, flora, landscapes are some of them.This year there is Spanish representation. 4 Spaniards appear among the best photos in the landscape, news/event, portrait and people categories. Without further ado we show you the four winners and at the end of the article we tell you how to participate in the 14th edition of this photographic event.

In this contest, the best photos are awarded by categories, but the highest honors go to four images that are awarded the following prizes:

Dimpy Bhalotia is a fine art street photographer based in London. After completing her education in Bombay, she moved to London to pursue a degree in fashion.Having worked in the interior and fashion industry for many years with renowned designers in London, she found her love in street photography and believes that black and white is the best medium with which to capture moments.
In the photo of her called Flying Boys, we can see three boys jumping off a wall into the Ganges River, their expressive limbs filling the sky with tension and exuberance.
First prize:

The author of this great capture is 32-year-old Artyom Baryshau (Belarus). He is not a professional photographer but he has a great love for photography, which he owes to his father. This one showed him the way to follow in this world, from the darkest room of the small apartment where they lived.
In the snapshot, called No Walls, they look like the blue streaks fade into an even bluer sky.
Second prize:

Photo taken by Geli Zhao (China) and of which we have no information. What we do know is that she takes wonderful photographs. She is the winner of the second prize for photographer of the year at the 2020 Ippawards.

Saif Hussein , from Iraq-Baghdad, lives in Istanbul. He graduated from the Department of Film and Television at the Academy of Fine Arts and worked in television for several years.
In the photo called Sheikh Of Youth, you can see a portrait of an old man caught between two aspects of himself.
How to participate in IPPAWARDS 2021:
You'll have to do it before March 31, 2021, the deadline to subscribe to it. You will also have to take into account the following:
- To qualify for the prizes you must take the photos with an iPhone or iPad.
- These images should not be pre-published anywhere.
- Posts on personal accounts (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) are eligible.
- Photos should not be modified in any desktop image processing program, such as Photoshop. It's okay to use photo editing apps for iOS.
- Use of any iPhone is allowed.
- Additional lenses can be used for iPhone.
- In some cases, we may be asked for the original image to verify that it was taken with an iPhone or iPad. Photos that cannot be verified are disqualified.
- Submissions must be the original size or no smaller than 1000 pixels in height or width.
