Most of us watch how future operating systems are presented from home and the Coronavirus COVID-19 has made everyone have to watch it from home. But it does not remove the impatience and desire to see what Apple prepares with its future operating systems. And, little by little, we are learning some details.
iOS 14 would support iPhones up to five years old
It is usual when the date of the WWDC approaches and we are sure that many of you will love the rumor, almost confirmed, that has emerged today. From the looks of it iOS 14 will be compatible with all devices that iOS 13 is currently compatible with.
That is, all those iPhone from iPhone 6s onwards, including iPhone SE from 2016 and the seventh generation iPod touch, would be fully compatible with iOS 14 This It means that devices that are more than five years old since its release could take advantage of iOS 14
One of the novelties that came with iOS 13
This is what emerges from the filtered version of iOS 14 since the code of said version is where the clues that have led to this conclusion have been found. Despite this, and although we hope not, this may change since the version is not even a beta.
That iOS 14 can be compatible with all those devices is very good news. It means that all owners with a slightly old iPhone, even from 2015, will be able to keep it if they want and not feel the obligation to change it. What do you think about the possible compatibility of iOS 14?
