New positive features for Instagram
Despite the efforts of its competitors, Instagram remains one of the most used and downloaded social networks. With millions of daily interactions, it is the photographic social network that continues to lead in the different operating systems.
Of those millions of interactions, many of them are the comments. Control over them is not the forte of the app since you can comment on almost anything in any post. But, with these new features they want to try to avoid it.
New features try to prevent and control abusive or harmful comments
The first of the new features is the ability to delete multiple comments at once. From now on Instagram gives users the possibility to manage our comments and select several of them to delete them.

While this new feature allows you to suddenly remove negative comments, there is also a feature to "reward" positive comments. Specifically, the social network will give the option to Highlight those comments that we consider positive In this way, they will appear at the top, both for us and for other users.
Not only that. We will also have the possibility to choose who can tag us and mention us in comments as it happens with the photos.Thus, we will be able to choose between everyone, nobody or the people we follow and, depending on what we have chosen, they may or may not tag us and mention us in comments. At the moment, it doesn't look like you can choose users individually.

These new functions for comments will be available in a future update, so in order to have them, all you have to do is keep the app updated and, as soon as they are available, they will appear in the app.
