A few days ago we let you know that two vulnerabilities or security flaws had been detected in the app Mail native toiOS and iPadOS Thanks to these security flaws, it was supposedly possible to access, control and manipulate the app's mail.
These security flaws, in theory, would have allowed hackers interested in exploiting them to access emails, and therefore the sensitive information contained in them, of people with access to secret and confidential information.

And now it is Apple that has responded to the news clarifying doubts about these security flaws or vulnerabilities. This was reported by a well-known journalist in the world of Apple, who is the one who released the statement or response.
The first thing that Apple stresses is that the company takes security flaws very seriously. This is real. In fact, it would be impossible for Apple operating systems to be as secure and reliable as they are if they weren't.

They assure that they have thoroughly investigated the bugs reported by the security company, three in total. And, although they admit their existence, after analyzing them, they assure that, by themselves, they are not capable of circumventing the security measures of operating systems.
Not only that, but in addition to stating that these flaws alone cannot breach the security of the Mail app, they state that there is no evidence that these flaws have been used against users iOS and iPadOS This means that no confidential information will be compromised.
Lastly Apple announces that a system update will be released shortly to fix these security flaws. The latter was to be expected and, even knowing that we are not at risk, we hope that the update appears as soon as possible.
