The most reliable source of information on this crisis, the World He alth Organization (WHO), despite reporting almost daily and have active profiles on social networks, it still does not have an official app for everyone to download.
This would be the official app on the iPhone
But that could change in a few days. Apparently, the World He alth Organization is working on an app focused on COVID19 This app, which would be called WHO MyHe alth, would be informative and include advice and recommendations.
In regards to information, the app would include relevant and truthful news to combat false news and misinformation around this virus. Nothing better than the WHO denying or confirming a statement about the global pandemic.
In addition, it would also include a method that would allow us to "self-diagnose". Through a test with different questions we could find out if the symptoms we present, and for which we believe we have the Coronavirus COVID-19, are compatible with it.
Some of the functions of the future app
The inclusion of recommendations to avoid contagion is also expected. Those official recommendations that we know but all in one place. Finally, it could also include maps with the spread of the disease, both worldwide and by country.
The launch of the app is scheduled for Monday, March 30 and, as it wants to be an official app at a global level, as befits the organization, it will be translated into different languages. What do you think of this initiative by the OMS?
