Apple Watch Gestures

If you own an Apple Watch we are going to tell you about a few functions that you are going to love. Gestures that we must make with the hand or fingers, on the clock screen and that are going to come in handy.

On our YouTube channel we have a playlist where we show you different Apple Watch tutorials and tricks, which will help you get much more out of your watch. But today here, we are going to tell you about basic gestures, easy to execute, that you should know and learn because they are very, very interesting.

Basic Apple Watch gestures that every Apple Watch user should learn:

Let's go with them. There are eight and we have chosen them because they are the ones that every user of this device should know from the first day they put the watch on their wrist:

Mute and reject calls on Apple Watch:

In the following video we explain all the ways that exist to reject and silence calls on the Apple watch:

To mute incoming calls there are two ways to do it:

  • Cover the clock screen with the palm of your hand. That will stop the iPhone and the watch from ringing, but the person who calls us will continue to receive a ringtone.
  • Press the crown (roulette on the side) of the watch once.

To reject calls from the Apple Watch, you must press the crown of the watch twice in succession.

Delete all notifications at once:

To clear all notifications from Apple Watch at once, you'll need to bring up Notification Center (swipe down from the top of the screen), and once all the notifications appear, press hard on the screen and choose the option “Clear all” .

Open last used app:

To open the last app you used, you must press the crown of the Apple Watch twice in succession. It is the fastest way to access the application you are using.

Customize spheres, sort them, add new ones:

By pressing hard on the sphere that you have active on your watch, you will access their customization. If when you are in the customization interface you move all the spheres from right to left, you will have the possibility to add new spheres.

To order the spheres as you like, from the customization menu, lightly press on the sphere you have on the screen and without releasing, you will see that it will allow you to move it and place them in the order you want.

Screenshot:

To take screenshots of the Apple Watch, simply press the crown of the watch and the button below it at the same time. Of course, you must have the screenshots function activated in the clock settings.

Force restart Apple Watch:

To quick restart the device, press and hold the side button and the crown for at least ten seconds. Release both buttons when you see the Apple logo.

What do you think of the gestures? They are simple to execute and will allow you to get much more out of the clock. They are, for us, basic gestures that we should all know since they are going to come in handy in our day to day.

Greetings.
