The app is called Genius Scan
iOS has different ways to scan documents natively. We can do it with the app Notes and also with the app Archivos But sometimes it may be insufficient and, therefore, we bring you the application Genius Scan with which to scan any document.
To start scanning documents we will have to press «+» on the main screen. We will see how our camera is activated, which will detect the documents and papers in front of it, and we will be able to choose if we want to scan a single document or several that will be joined in a file.
This app for scanning documents on iOS also allows us to scan photos and create files from documents
If we want to modify the result that the app gives, we can use the tools. We will be able to edit the result, cutting it, rotating it or moving it; enhance it by choosing between black and white, color or photo; or resize it to fit the scan.
The scanning interface
Genius Scan doesn't just allow you to scan documents. We can also scan any photo we want or add it from our camera roll, making use of all the enhancement functions that are available for documents.
In addition to photos, we can also choose files from the Files app of iOS. This will allow us to condense the files we need in the app and edit them as we need with the app's tools .
The different editing tools
Once the process is finished, both with the photos and with files and documents, we can export the result. We can choose between PDF and JPEG, and export them to different services such as cloud services, the app Archivos , the film or email.
To be able to use all the app's functions, we can purchase the Pro version of it. But the free version can be more than enough for most needs. We recommend you download and try it as it can be very useful.
