The new Microsoft app
Some time ago we announced that Microsoft was thinking of removing apps from Word, Exceland Power Point and unify all in a single app. Well, after being tested for a while, this app is now available at the App Store for all users who want to download it.
When opening the application we will see three icons at the bottom, which are the main ones of the app. The first one, represented by the icon of a house, is Start In it we will find all the recent files used in the app and we will be able to open documents.
The Microsoft Office app is much more complete than the individual Word, Excel and Power Point apps
The second one, represented by the «+», will serve us for various purposes. We can create Notes, which will be anchored in Start, and use our camera to scan documents, photos, and even whiteboards, if necessary .
Document Creation
The most important is, without a doubt, the possibility to create and edit different documents, both Word and Excel and Power Point We can create documents by writing starting documents, books and documents from scratch, scanning or digitizing them.
Finally, Actions, allows us to access the different tools that the Microsoft Office app hasAmong them we find the possibility of transferring files between devices, converting text into images, signing PDFs or digitizing them among many others.
Creating a Word Document
You should remember that this app can be fully used for free on the iPhone simply by logging into our account Microsoft But to use it on the iPad, except iPad mini, you need a subscription to Microsoft 365
