We can't wait for Apple to enable the public transportation function on its maps . At last we will be able to know which public transport we have to use to get anywhere in our city or even in our country.
As far as we know, many cities have received this feature. Barcelona , Valencia , Seville , Bilbao , Alicante , Palma de Mallorca , Murcia , Cartagena , Granada , Almería , Málaga are some of the graced locations and, little by little, more will be added.
How Apple Maps Public Transportation Map Works:
In the mentioned cities and surely in some more, we can choose any point in our city or any part of our country, to know which public transport lines we will have to take to get there. It will tell us the approximate time of arrival, what time the next bus, tram, train, metro is scheduled to arrive at your nearest stop. A marvel for anyone who uses public transport to get around.
This is something that could be done with other third-party apps. Now, finally, we can get rid of them to use Apple Maps. And we warn you that it works really well.
If you want to try it, go to the apple maps app, click on the “i” that appears at the top right of the screen and select the “T” map . public» .
Choose the option “T. public»
Now you simply have to click on the area of your city, or of any other city in our country, to find out what combination of buses, trains, and subways you should use to reach that destination.
Choose any of the displayed paths
Different routes will appear, by clicking on them you will be able to see the arrival time in detail, the time you have to wait to catch any of the required transport, the number of stops, all the necessary information to know how to arrive and the time how long will it take.
