iOS Shortcuts
Shortcuts is one of the most interesting functions that our iOS devices have. Many people don't use it because they don't know how it works, but for many others, like us, it gives us extra usefulness that comes in handy.
We find this function of iOS so interesting that, shortly, we are going to start a series of tutorials in which we are going to try to teach you how to create your own Shortcuts. Some of the shortcuts I downloaded from the internet. Others I have created adapting them to my day to day. Of all the ones that I name below, I leave you the download link so that you can install them on your devices:
Work mode:
Thanks to him, every time I get to my workplace and use this Shortcut created by me, the iPhone gets in Do Not Disturb mode, the volume is set to 0% and low power mode is activated.

Normal mode:
When I stop working, I press this Shortcut and the iPhone sets the volume to 50%, and disables both “Off” mode disturb” , such as low data mode.

This is a shortcut that I downloaded from the internet and that allows you to make the screenshots I take of the screen of the iPhone or Apple Watch , have a skin applied that emulates the iPhone and the Apple Watch. Thanks to this Shortcut, the screenshots we share on the web are so nice.

GIF:
Other Shortcut created by me. By clicking on it, a menu will appear in which we will be asked to choose where we want to share a GIF. It can be through iMessage, in WhatsApp or, also, there is the option to copy the link and paste it into other apps. Once the option is chosen, a search engine will appear where we must search for the GIF that we want to send.
A super fast way to do this action that avoids having GIF apps installed. Since I have this shortcut I uninstalled the app Giphy.

This Shortcut is also self-produced. Accessing it, a list appears with the last 10 articles published on my favorite news websites, among which is, obviously, APPerlas .

Automations in iOS Shortcuts:
It is one of the options we have in Shortcuts We can create automations that allow us to execute Shortcuts if specific conditions occur. All these automations have been created by me and cannot be shared as they are based on locations that only serve me.
Shortcut Automation on iOS
When I leave home:
When I leave home, I get a notification that allows me to run a Shortcut that disables WIFI on the iPhoneThe iPhone geolocates me and when I leave the range of meters that I assign within a location, in this case my house, clicking on that notification deactivates the Wi-Fi and thus prevents it from constantly searching for networks to connect to.
NOTICE: As long as I'm not going to use a location app, I use it. If I activate this automation I have noticed that the location in apps such as maps, weather app is not accurate at all.
When I get home:
When I get home I get a notification that allows me to execute a Shortcut that activates the WIFI on the iPhone.
When I get to work:
This automation allows me to get to work and send a message to my wife, saying that I have arrived safely.
All these notifications from automations appear both on the iPhone and Apple Watch in case you have one. It is very convenient to be able to activate them from the clock of Apple.
