The new Microsoft Office app
Currently, if we want to use Word, Excel or Power Point iniOS or b, we have to download all apps separately. But this will end shortly as Microsoft has announced that it will unify its entire office suite into a single application.
From this new application we can see and edit the documents we have in One Drive or on our devices, both Word and Excel and Power Point But we can also create documents of any of the types mentioned from scratch.
This new Office app is still in beta for iOS
In this way, the possibility of creating, editing and viewing Word, Excel and documents has been centralized Power Point in a single application. And although it may seem more complicated than now, the interface seems to be quite intuitive.
In addition, the new Office app also has other useful functions. From the main screen it gives us the possibility to access quick notes, scan documents recognizing the text and save them to edit or convert them into documents or transfer files between devices, among many other options.
The ability to create documents of any kind
The move doesn't seem entirely strange, since all the apps in the office suite of Office are centralized and it may be easier than downloading all of them in separate apps.Also, it doesn't seem like it will be a hassle for those who only use one of the apps since they are "separated" from each other within the app .
