How to restrict app downloads to children
If you are one of the people who leaves your iPhone or iPad to children, you will know that they have an innate ease when using them . They know a lot and downloading applications, for them, is suck. That is why we bring you one of our iOS tutorials to restrict downloads of inappropriate apps for certain ages.
Thank God, iOS allows you to configure and stop the indiscriminate download of applications by the little ones in the house.
Next we show you where that function is that every parent should configure.
How to restrict app downloads to children and their use:
To access the menu that allows us to perform this action, we will have to follow the following path: Settings/Use time/Restrictions/Content restrictions/Apps .
If you followed that route, this screen will appear:
Age Restriction
As you see, some ages appear to us. That is where we have to mark what types of applications we allow our children, nephews, cousins to download.
For example, if we leave the iPhone to a 6-7 year old child, we would have to mark the 7+ option. This means that you will only be able to download applications that are suitable for children up to 7 years of age. That's where the 4+ and 7+ apps would come in. All other apps older than that age will appear with the "Get" button disabled.
But it would not only limit downloads, it would also make disappear from our apps screen all the apps that weren't indicated for their age. In our example, the apps cataloged for 12+ and 17+ would disappear.
This option is indicated to be applied to mobile phones intended for children. If you do it on your iPhone, when you want to download an app that exceeds the age that we have configured, or see again your apps that you hid from children, you will have to access the route that you We have commented before and check the option “Allow all apps”. But be carefulALL APPS WILL APPEAR DISORDERLY ON YOUR TERMINAL.
A function that will surely come in handy for many of you. Today children can access information of any kind and it's not bad at all, control a little the content they can download.
