How to activate Deep fusion
Deep Fusion is a new feature that is only available on the iPhone 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max. Artificial intelligence takes over the camera, delivering sharper images than ever before.
If you don't know what it consists of, we'll tell you roughly what it is. Thanks to the application of computational photography, when taking a photo, the iPhone captures up to nine photos (four with one lens and four with another), before we even shoot to take the photo. Each of these images is taken with different exposures and lighting conditions and the best parts are used to process them with the Neural Engine to obtain the best possible photo.
The photo, at first glance, does not seem to improve with this function, but if you zoom in you can see the differences.
If you want to enable Deep Fusion on your iPhone, please note this:
Before continuing, we share with you an image in which you can appreciate the improvements that Deep Fusion brings to the photographs:

The differences are almost negligible, but if you look at the hair, in the image with Deep Fusion activated you can see how much more marked it is than in the photo with HDR. If we zoomed in we would see much more of the difference.
We have to say that to activate Deep Fusion you don't need to do anything. It is automatically activated on our devices. There is no configuration button for this new feature.
But, yes, in order to capture the images with this new function, we must take into account several factors that we will discuss below:
1- Doesn't work on photos taken with ultra wide angle lens:
That is, you'll need to take a photo at x1 or higher for the Deep Fusion to activate. But you should also know that it does not work in low light conditions, nor with night mode active.
2- Does not support “Out of Frame Capture”:
Deep Fusion is incompatible with the “Capture outside photo frame” function. This function, when using the ultra wide angle, makes Deep Fusion not work. In the following tutorial we show you how it works and how to enable and disable out-of-frame capture
This feature has been removed in iOS 14.
3- Cannot be used in burst mode if you want to activate Deep Fusion:
Also note that when you take photos in burst mode on iPhone 11, Deep Fusion will also not be activated .
Well, you know, if you want to enjoy this computer photography, keep in mind what we just told you.
Greetings.
