This is how you can activate dark mode and its benefits
Today we are going to teach you how to activate dark mode . An option that we have available after the release of iOS 13 and that has great benefits for our OLED screens.
Surely by now you've heard of the famous dark mode . And it is that many applications are adapting to this mode, giving a different touch to all their menus. In this case, we want to teach you how to activate it on the iPhone or iPad, and also how to do it quickly.
But we are also going to tell you about the benefits of activating this function, especially if your screen is OLED (iPhone X onwards).
How to activate dark mode on iPhone and iPad
To activate this mode, we have two ways to do it. One of them is somewhat longer and another is super fast. Let's first explain the longer form.
- We must go to the device settings.
- Here we look for the tab .<>
- The option to activate light mode, dark mode or do it automatically appears.
Select the mode we want
This way we can activate the dark mode, although it is a little longer. But we have a faster option and from which we will be able to activate it from anywhere we are or from any app. To do this, we do the following:
- We open the control center.
- In the brightness section, we keep pressing the menu.
- We will see that the option to activate appears at the bottom.
From the control center and pressing brightness, we activate the dark mode
These are the two ways we have to activate this function and give our device a different touch. But we will not only give it a different touch, for devices like the iPhone X and above, which have OLED screens, it also has benefits.
These benefits that we are talking about are battery saving. This saving is determined by the pixels of our screen, being OLED, everything is full of pixels. Therefore, everything that is black will be real black, that is, that pixel will not light up. So we will be saving battery.
